On Friday, May 29th, the Mets acquired veteran outfielder Emil Brown from the Padres for a player to be named later. He reported to Triple-A Buffalo and was called up in early June.
Sadly, for Emil at least, after going 1-5 lifetime as a Met, Brown was designated for assignment on Saturday, June 6th, to make room for Ryan Church on the Mets roster.
So who should that player-to-be-named-later be?
Why, Emil Brown himself, of course!
